External signers and SignLinks

A signer can receive a SignLink directing them to their ceremony. The invitation should identify the correct recipient and document context.

  1. Open the link from the invitation you were expecting.
  2. Review the ceremony details and confirm you are the intended signer.
  3. Follow the device verification instructions shown by SignumEra.
  4. Review the document and complete only your authorized signing steps.

Recipient or session mismatch

If SignumEra indicates the invitation belongs to another recipient, do not attempt to work around the restriction. Contact the ceremony owner to request the correct invitation.

Security reminder

A web login by itself does not authorize a document signature. Follow the device-specific verification requested for that signing transaction.
