Signing invitations

The Signing Invitations section of the ceremony dashboard provides invitation actions for each recipient.

Send an invitation

1. Confirm the recipient and the ceremony information.
2. Select Send Notify.
3. Review the resulting delivery status before telling the recipient the invitation was sent.

Delivery by email or direct message

SignumEra may use an email transport or a Teams/Zoom direct message, depending on connection and delivery capabilities. A meeting being present does not prove that a DM succeeded.

The planned UX messages are Invitation Sent By Email and Invitation Sent By DM when the backend confirms the respective submission. These indicators are not guaranteed to be present until that UX change is deployed.

If delivery fails

Verify the recipient contact address or linked account. Retry only after checking whether an earlier attempt succeeded to avoid duplicate notifications.

Delivery status

A send confirmation means the relevant provider accepted the message for delivery; it does not prove the recipient has read it.
