Finalize a contract

Finalization is the last step in a signing ceremony. Make sure the correct document and signers are selected and that all required signatures and authorization steps are complete.

Review before finalization

• Verify the document version and recipient roles.
• Check the signing status for each required signer.
• Complete any phone or biometric authorization challenge prompted by the application.
• Confirm the configured System of Record destination when applicable.

About the phone verification QR code

Some signing screens show a QR code that allows a registered phone to authorize the transaction. A proposed UX improvement moves that QR code into a modal; this documentation will be updated after the change is deployed.

Never treat a visible QR code alone as proof that a signing authorization succeeded.
